Symetri Provides Metastream with New Web site and Identity for Corporate Re-Launch

March 29, 2000 - High Point, NC - Symetri Corporation, the North Carolina-based Internet communication agency, announces its first-phase completion of the website development and corporate-identity makeover for Metastream Corporation. Metastream Corp. today launched MTS3: the next generation of their 3D-visualization platform for e-commerce. Metastream is the leading provider of visualization technology and services that enable online retailers to host interactive product presentations on the Internet.

Symetri, which in April will celebrate its first year of providing interactive technology solutions, has experienced remarkable success with clients ranging from high-tech companies to producers of consumer goods. Symetri is one of a handful of interactive agencies nationwide who offer combined expertise in both interactive design and cutting-edge technology; they are also an official Content Partner for MTS3. The company is led by Ron Jones, Jr., president, who earlier headed an Internet-dedicated division of MCI, and who recently led the development of Trone Advertising's interactive unit. Jones stated, "The Metastream platform enables Symetri to offer its clients unique opportunities for showcasing their products. Our creative and technical teams can utilize this 3D manipulation interface to ensure our clients receive the best interactive tools available. We are extremely pleased to be partnered with such an innovative resource."

Symetri's energetic creative staff includes a number of interactive designers with award-winning backgrounds. Andrew Hinton (Symetri's "Electro-Poet") and John Peele (the company's "Firestarter"), led the Metastream projects. "Metastream's been a great experience. We're excited to see the results," commented Peele. Hinton agreed, stating, "It's impressive to see what can come of collaborative technologies like this; we can't wait to see what comes next."

In its first year, Symetri has developed relationships with a wide range of clients, including Interpath, Thomasville Furniture, PSINet, OnSphere, and the Uniroyal Tires division of Michelin.
