Sealy, Inc. Names Symetri Interactive Agency of Record for eBusiness

April 26, 2000, High Point, North Carolina - Symetri Corporation announced today that they are working with Sealy, Inc. to develop an e-business strategy for the country's largest bedding manufacturer. Symetri will re-engineer the existing interactive website, www.sealy.com, while developing multiple networked interactive programs. Long range goals include such elements as database-creation-and-management editorials and multiple web site services with user-friendly interfaces. Sam Young, the "Trailblazer" at Symetri (currently serving as an e-business strategist on the Sealy account), said, "We're excited to be working with a manufacturer like Sealy. They have such a strong vision of how to plan beyond the obvious, and how a company can take a great leap into preparing for tremendous growth with this technology. The very nature of e-business is an evolutionary process. This is not an everyday project; it's a cultural change which will allow Symetri to support Sealy's relationships with every employee and every retail partner."

Tying into Sealy's company goal of being "First, Best, Most, and Improving" which is used for both internal and retailer support, Jim Downey, director of market development, stated, "We chose Symetri because of their holistic approach to e-business. Symetri will assist Sealy in pursuing an e-business strategy that will affect everyone. It's all about effectiveness and efficiency. Our web content will be more meaningful and will enhance visiting consumers' experience. Our retailers will benefit from additional e-business services. And, our employees will be supported with tools enabling them to provide continuing and improving superior service."
