Symetri Staff Prepares for Next Phase of Growth


December 28, 2000, High Point, NC - Symetri, an interactive agency located in the Triad which has shown tremendous growth during its first 18 months of serving its national and local clients, announces it has again added new staff members. The recent hirings bring the total number of Symetri employees to 35. This rapid expansion has been prompted by an increase in major clients including Wachovia and Sara Lee's Hanes Hosiery division which are also based in the Triad. "From 2 people in April 1999 to 35 today, our family continues to grow as we are committed to recruiting the very best talent to serve our client base," said Ron Jones, Jr., crusader-in-chief (aka president) of Symetri.

Additions to the Symetri staff include:

Eric Braun, Web Slinger - Originally from Orlando, Florida, Braun now lives in Greensboro and is responsible for development of client websites, including both visual and technical aspects, particularly ASP programming. He attended Florida State University and his previous work experiences are The Nature Conservancy in Florida and The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.

Travis Hyatt, Diginaut - Working the area of graphics design and production, Hyatt brings to Symetri a strong background in interactive design. A 1999 graduate of Full Sail University with a degree in digital media, Hyatt resides in Greensboro and is originally from Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Derek Lidbom, Duke of URL - Lidbom, a Greensboro native who now resides in Winston Salem, North Carolina, will be working in the area of web applications development and programming technology. A Microsoft Certified Professional and System Engineer, previously, Lidbom was employed as an applications developer for Focus Group in the Winston Salem area.

Andy Padjen, Wave Runner - Padjen will be working with clients to clarify the mission and vision of their websites in order to develop content and functionality. A 1995 graduate of Calvin College with a degree in communications, as an information architect Padjen work with multiple Symetri clients. Originally from Arlington Heights, Illinois, Padjen now resides in Greensboro. He was previously employed with OnePlace, Ltd. as a merchandising director.

Karina Martino Short, Sychronizer - Originally from Denton, Texas, Short graduated in 1998 from Brigham Young University with a BS in marketing communications and minor in business. Now residing in Winston Salem, Short will be responsible for assisting with account communication and management. Previously she was employed at The Woodbine Agency in Winston Salem.
