Kimberly-Clark Health Care Business Launches Online Draping Guide

ATLANTA (Feb. 22, 2002) – Kimberly Clark Corp's (NYSE: KMB) Health Care business today announced the launch of an online surgical draping guide for clinicians. The new resource teaches clinicians how to utilize Kimberly-Clark surgical drapes while maintaining the drapes' sterility. The draping guide can be found on the Kimberly-Clark Health Care Web site at www.kchealthcare.com.

The online surgical draping guide demonstrates the techniques involved in the application of Kimberly-Clark surgical drapes. This is accomplished through both an instructional video as well as a descriptive list of written instructions. Kimberly-Clark drape users can now easily find instructions to assist in proper drape application. The guide includes three sorting features to help end users find the appropriate draping directions. Sorting methods include: by drape stock number, by drape name/description or by surgical procedure.

"We always want to provide resources that truly are valuable for our customers," said Jeff Schneider, general manager, Kimberly-Clark Health Care's Global Surgical Business. "Providing this educational information online significantly increases our ability to get the word out and provides an exceptionally convenient tool available at their fingertips."

"Customers can now log on to the Web site, and within a matter of clicks be viewing an informative video or list of written instructions on how to use our product. The online surgical draping guide is another example of Kimberly-Clark's dedication to customer satisfaction," said Rob Hoctor, associate marketing director, E-business, Kimberly-Clark Health Care.

The online draping guide was designed by Symetri, a leading developer of strategies, applications and interfaces for e-business companies. Symetri is also the architect of the recently launched Kimberly-Clark Health Care Web site.
