Symetri Announces Completion of RF Micro Devices' Web site
HIGH POINT, N.C. (October 21, 2002) - Symetri, a leading information management software provider and e-business strategy, design and development company, today announced the completion of RF Micro Devices' Web site redesign. Symetri and RF Micro Devices worked together to redesign the Web site, which features an online product guide, as well as additional enhancements. RF Micro Devices launched the enhanced Web site today.
"We were charged with creating a Web site that encompassed the entire RFMD® product catalog that, at the same time, remained user friendly," said Sam Young, Chief Operating Officer, Symetri. "The enhanced Web site combines enhanced usability with a more attractive user interface."
"The launch of our improved Web site demonstrates our on-going commitment to supporting our customers," said Jerry Neal, executive vice president of marketing and strategic development, RFMD. "With our enhanced Web site, we're able to offer customers an on-line product catalog, better meeting their needs and providing them an optimal Web experience. We collaborated with Symetri to help us enhance the overall functionality and usability of the RFMD Web site."
The Web site was built with focus on enhancing the end user's experience. The online product guide can be searched via four search options: by product family, by application, by standard or by part number. Based on XML open standards, the Web site is easy to maintain with the functionality to update daily. Symetri utilized a team of six full-time staffers to assist in the development and building of the Web site.
