AEC Sales Specialist

We are expanding our Architecture, Engineering and Construction team to work closely with the sales and technical teams delivering on projects at a global level, supporting and providing high end engineering and design solutions right across the industry. With this growth comes the need for a AEC Sales Specialist. You’ll be working in our AEC Team in Limerick to develop a trusted working relationship with Symetri customers through your engagements that will deliver value to their business which will result in the expansion of the Symetri engagements.

Your position

Supported by a global team of over 800 employees across Northern Europe and the US, you can expect on-going technical coaching and regular support. Training on Autodesk design products will be provided as part of your personal and professional development. Career progression is encouraged with several goals and objectives to work towards. You will have opportunities to travel both nationally and internationally and gain valuable experience in new technologies including Virtual Reality, Generative Design & Design/Make Workflows. The role includes management of both large and small customer accounts and contracts.

As an AEC Sales Specialist you will;

  • Promote Autodesk Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Solutions in Ireland with new and existing customers
  • Provide customers with proven solutions to address their business issues
  • Deliver active discussions and debate on opportunities for improving business processes
  • Work with customers on a range of AEC projects to identify further upselling opportunities
  • Proactively create and develop your own pipeline of opportunities
  • Achieve sales targets and provide regular forecasts on opportunity / sales pipeline
  • Develop target customers and prospects within a defined sales territory
  • Leverage effective sales processes, tools and methodologies
  • Coordinate with internal resources from internal sales, pre-sales, technical and marketing departments
  • Support all Symetri & Autodesk strategic plans and marketing campaigns
  • Develop, communicate, and execute on Symetri’s sales strategy
  • Communicate at all levels internally and externally including C level executives
  • Become a trusted adviser and business partner for your customers – strong change manager

To be successful in this position it is beneficial if you have the following merits:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on your own initiative to meet sales and promotional deadlines
  • Knowledge of products within the Autodesk AEC portfolio desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling technical or business solutions
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong initiative for selling
  • Knowledge of current construction industry trends desirable
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on your own initiative to meet sales and promotional deadlines

Details

You will be based in Limerick, Ireland. This role is on a hybrid-working basis. You will be expected to work remotely or from client's offices.
Your salary is set according to industry standards.
