Lumion 2023 is a significant update to the Lumion software, incorporating ray tracing technology alongside rasterisation. This transformation aims to enable faster and more frequent innovations in the field of architectural visualisation. The new version offers unprecedented quality while maintaining Lumion's user-friendly customisation capabilities.
Ray tracing, a rendering technique that calculates the interaction of light with objects in a scene, brings more accurate and realistic shadows, reflections, and refractions, enabling users to create photorealistic images. The decision to introduce ray tracing into Lumion is guided by the principles of accessibility, stability, speed, and experience, which have been central to the software's development over the years.
Lumion 2023 is available in Standard, Pro, and Pro trial. All customers with an active subscription licence will benefit from an upgrade to Lumion 2023 at no additional cost.
